What does "Six Figures" Income Mean?
I heard a lot of people talk about the money they make on the Internet and they they often refer to "Six Figure" or even 7 Figure income.

What's the amount of money a person have to make to consider Six Figure or Seven Figure?

It means that you earn an income of $100,000 or more per year. "Six-figure" refers to the number of digits in the number $100,000(there's six of them -- 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0). In our current times in America, a "six-figure income" is considered to be very comfortable and respectable. You can easily raise a family on a six-figure income. If you're single or have no kids, you can easily live a lifestyle consisting of your own house(via mortgage), a nice new car, and the occasional vacation. A six-figure income is considered "respectable" because most people that make "six figures" have been in their career field for a good amount of time, or have a high-up managerial position at their job, or both. Therefore, it is a compliment to have a 6-figure income.
