anyone who could explain what this sentence means, any english speakers plz help me~?

Question

I watched a program and i don't get some parts, so i'm asking for your help.
The script is presented below. Ryan and Dan are talking about trophy truck.(offroad car)

"RYAN: See your seat?
DAN: No I was kinda holding off on that. It's BTK, born to kill vehicle. No windshield, huh? Straight forward.
RYAN: That's what that hill was for."


=> i have two questions.

1. I wanna know what does "I was kinda holding off on that." mean in this context.
Does it mean 'i haven't seen my seat yet, but i'm gonna see it.' or 'i don't want to see it now.' or another???


2. I wanna know the meaning of the last sentence, especially the word 'hill' in this context.
some kind of car device, or literal mountain?T.T

I asked this question before, and some kind netizens answer the question 2.

one said that the sentence of "That's what that hill was for." means "The hill was for breaking the windshield, but it's already gone." and another said that " A flip on a hill took care of the windshield. This trophy truck has been raced before."

I guess two people explain similar meaning, but i don't get what 'hill' means.

i think english native speakers could get this meaning, but i can't.

It's a motocross kind of race track with a lot of sharp curves, straightaways, and loads of HILLS. It's usually a dirt road coarse, rough and ready, very hard on the suspension, with lots of spills, BROKEN WINDSCREENS and other damages. You can make up a lot pf speed driving downhill, as well as on a straightaway, but usually at the bottom of hills are sharp curves.

"I was kinda holding off on that" means: I could have seen my seat, but I'm waiting.



Hill is literal, it's not a car part or a metaphor. He literally means: The hill will help the truck move forward.



"Straight forward" though does have double meaning. It can mean to move in straight line OR it can mean 'honestly' or 'very simply.'

I have no idea what they are talking about, so I can't help you with #1. It seems like they were talking before, not just starting off with "See your seat?". I have been speaking English my whole life and I know most of the slang, this all is confusing though. Sorry
