Is this a correct use of the word nor?

I did not see the information needed in the document packet you sent, nor could I find in the information sent previously.

The proper description is not on the title page, nor in the document.

Umm well the first sentance seems fine to me. The second im not too sure i would say something like ''The proper description is not on the title page, nor IS it in the document.' That then would be correct but your way be be correct too :) Hope this helps

Usually, nor is used after neither. It's sort of like either-or. However, just like or, nor can be used as a conjunction: I didn't see him, nor did I see her. or: I saw neither him nor her.

Your first example is correct.

In your second example, "nor is it in the document."
