Here is a sentence from my resume`. Which is correct? Which should I use?:
"Seeking a position on an Engineering team... "
"Seeking a position in an Engineering team... "

At first thought it sounds like it should be "on" a team (that's the way it's used when refering to sports), but "in" a team also seems like it could be correct.

Seeking a position "in" a team.

Or seeking a position "on" a side, ie football side.

Both are technically grammatically correct, but in it's context, 'on a team' would be more appropriate.
