If they are learning something new from microsoft word 7 and they have to do a project. Well the project has instructions and on the side it has a picture what it needs to look like. On the picture has labels on the margins telling you it needs to have the fonts, styles, and themes change. On the instructions doesn't tell you to change your fonts, styles and themes. The instructions is only telling you to follow them closely like Insert a watermark and clip art. If this person looks at the picture first before reading the instructions? What kind of learner would this person be? I know the instructor wants everyone to read the instructions first but for this person needs to look at the picture, then read the instructions. Because for this person does reading first, It is a little hard for this person to comprehend that way.
