The correct spelling is 'neither'.

There is no such word in the English language as 'neighter'.

The spelling of the word is "neither". Your sister's confusion may arise from differences in the pronunciation of this word - some say it like nee-ther whilst others it like nigh-ther: niːðə(r) or naɪðə(r)

This is similar to the word "either" which has two pronunciations: aɪðə(r) or iːðə(r)

I wouldn't trust any source that uses the work "dank" for proper grammatical references.

It has always been "neither" and it always goes with "nor". So you say, "Neither this nor that is good for me."
