Yeah kids, I think you're all thinking that this person is talking about the game you play with little wodden balls, and wickets and mallets and stuff, spelled croquet, pronounced krow-kay. Haha, darn you spelling.



The word spelled above is a small little pie that's deep fried... Think those little fried fruit pie thing that cost like 50 cents at the grocery store.....with meat in them. Tell me if I'm wrong, but it mean little sandwich? I think? Anyway.



And like most French words that end in ette in English, you DO pronounce the "t" sound. It would be something like krow-ket-a, kind of like the word petite.



Yeah, definately not a game played with little wooden balls. The French girl was right, everyone just needed a mediator to explain what the others were talking about.
