I have a project due next week and on the project we must do a fat question and by fat I don't mean lquestions like 'do I look fat in this dress'. A fat question I think is a question that isn't answered by something simple like yes or no. So my fat question is WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES/GENRES OF VIDEO GAMES?
Is it a fat or skinny question and plz answer with something helpful and not like insulting or annoying answers.

Well it really isnt much of a "fat" question because they can Just list the genres. The question doesnt leas to anywhere else.

Now If you ask something Like " what genre of video games affect the children more" something Like that would be "fat"

A fat question is one which needs a big answer.

So "what are the differences between the various types/genres of video games" would be a fatter question.

It is simple.

To make it fat, redesign it like this

"What are the essential features of various types/genres of video games?'

Sure, if the goal is to ask a question that requires a longer, more informative answer, then yes, it's quite fat!
