A word which spells a different word when reversed is called an "anadrome" or "semordnilap" (note that semordnilap is palindrome backwards).
Examples:
stressed / desserts
gateman / nametag
deliver / reviled
straw / warts
star / rats
stop / pots
snap / pans

dog / god
gut / tug

tap / pat
ward / draw

Some of my favorite words like that use the same four letters but in different sequences, with all different meanings: STOP, POTS, TOPS, OPTS, SPOT, POST
