What the hell is a smooth operator?

I was talking to one of my friends (a girl) and she said one of my other friends (a guy) was a smooth operator...when I google it, all I get is this song. My friends are pretty harsh so I wouldn't ask them what it is.

smooth operator = someone who can handle multiple situations in a fashion that can only be described as "Awesome, spectacular, and, above all else, awesometacular".



Usually a smooth operator is someone who tends to be "on top of things", and in is usually in control of any given situation. If he/she isn't in control of a situation, they usually find a way to gain control of it to make it more awesome for everyone involved.



Smooth Operators are rarely in trouble, and, when they are, they can usually get out of these situations quickly, elegantly and with a zero percent chance of casualties.

Reality,you really have to sit and think about where all this is going,you are obviously not happy with this situation.I'm not going to say that Claire is a great person but your being very,very critical of her every move,you paint a very bad picture of her,come on man,is she that bad.Through the months while reading your posts Claire has gone from bad to worse,she has had her good moments but the overall theme here is that Claire is the devil,you seem like a smart guy and I have a hard time believing that you would let Claire the super bi-tch lead you around like a lost puppy.How about telling us some good things about Claire,I just cant imagine someone being so mean on a constant basis and driven in her personal life only to further her career.
