Why mess up your regular vocabulary trying to use a word like (ergo) not many people know what it represents so therefore your word is used in this sentence.

ergo........wow.......now that is a work I can honestly say that I have never used....nor will use......not with a straight face....I am a product of the boston school system so while I have a tendency to use for letter words to express myself ergo is not one of these words...sorry I only clicked on the anwser part so I could see the replys.. and just felt like typing something....peace

Just a word of advice when using ergo: Make sure you precede it with a semicolon and follow it with a comma.
I think punctuation is important; ergo, I try to use it correctly every time I write.

yes you can use it in a sentence. ergo by definition is a sentence connector. its synonyms are : therefore, hence, in consequence and consequently.
sentence= adrian did not show up to work last night; ergo, he is fired.
