What's nothin' Does it mean "nothing"?

Please explain to me about "nothin'".

nothin' is just a casual way of saying nothing. The final ing of a word is often elided in various ways. Nothin' doin'. I'm gonna write a letter. Makin' bacon.

Nothin' is nothing but as spoken in a lazy way. There is also 'nuthin', 'nuffink' or, as we say in northern England, 'Nowt'.
