so how do I install an Australian one like Mcquarrie? What I'm trying to say is that when I do a spell-check some words that show up as incorrect, then in another check they then change. Such as hyphens, commas incorrectly placed, time as a.m, p.m or A.M P.M I get totally confused. I want only Australian spellings, as I am writing a novel and 'strangely' it is set in good old Oz. Can someone, anyone, help .

Word has many different dictionaries depending on the language you are using. If you have the edition for your country it should have the proper dictionary.

I will look but it may be that there is not one for austrailia as it is an English speaking nation. I know it has one for the UK and one for USA so probably if it is austrailian edition it would be htere.

Check the languages and see if there is a setting for english austrailia. Sure are a lot of languages to choose from.
