What does od mean?

I chill with a lot of puerto ricans, they are awesome, but the slang they use can be totally confusing. what does it mean when they say "Damn thats OD!"

I have no idea. But back in the 1960s and 1970s when I was at the fringes of the drug culture, to "OD" meant "to overdose," meaning that you would take so much heroin or so much cocaine that it would kill you. Or so much LSD that it would make you a little too crazy.



I don't know if your Puerto Rican friends picked up the slang term "OD" from old drug slang, however.



They may have gotten the word from somewhere different, and it may have a different meaning.
