In my understanding, anything or anyone that is well-known for something can be said "famous". someone or something that is "reputable" is also famous, but with good reputation.

"Coming" is used for something that is to happen naturally at certain time, like "the coming winter", or "the coming festival" that falls on the same day every year.'Upcoming" is used for something that is part of a schedule, like "the upcoming meeting/conference", "the upcoming sports meet", "the upcoming celebration" etc.

"Famous" refers to a person, event, or thing that is known or admired by a great many people--such as a celebrity. "Kathy was famous for her astute questions."

"Reputable" refers to a person or concept whose trustworthiness can be verified--such as an accurate journalist or an honest businessman. "The Yahoo! Answers community considered Kathy to be a reputable contributor."

"Coming" refers to a person or thing that is expected to arrive at a particular point, or is at least making progress toward that point: "When Kathy demanded her tea, the servant replied, 'It is coming, ma'am!'"

"Upcoming" refers to an event that is scheduled to happen at a future date: "Kathy had to glance at her social calendar to remember the date of her upcoming Academy Award ceremony."
