so i'm writing an essay about a tale of two cities.
and i'm using the theme of characters foiling other characters.
and i was going to use the characters miss pross and madame defarge.
i was going to set it up so that miss's pross's love for lucie is accentuated by madame defarge, but i didn't know what to call that trait. i don't want to call it an ability to love.

for example i also used, the marquis and charles darnay. i said that the marquis brings out the trait of benevolence in darnay.

but i wouldn't know what to call the trait that madame defarge accentuates in miss pross.
if that makes any sense.
sorry, i don't know how to explain it better.

Who said love has an age limit? It's just the outlook on how you "love" someone. Loving someone can mean that you sincerely care for them... It doesn't have to mean marrying them or making a huge commitment to them... If "I like you" isn't strong enough... What else can be strong enough? Pfft... You're not allowed to tell someone you love them...
